Staten Island Community Charter School’s education program meets all minimum curriculum requirements established by the New York State Board of Regents and the New York City Department of Education. We then go beyond those minimum requirements, adding curriculum enhancements like these:

A hands-on Natural Sciences curriculum that begins right outside our door, connecting students to our extraordinary island environment. We’ll explore Staten Island’s dramatic topography, study its abundant plant life, and discover its coastal habitats, often hidden but teeming with activity.

That’s why at SICCS, teachers, assistant teachers and educational specialists assess each child’s progress continuously, day after week after month.
