Staten Island Community Charter School is a community-based, community-focused, community-run K-8 public charter school on the North Shore of Staten Island, one of the five boroughs of New York City.

Our school is near the FREE Staten Island Ferry, SI Expressway to and from New Jersey, and Verrazano Narrows Bridge to and from Brooklyn. Two MTA bus lines stop nearby, and the parking is easy.

At Staten Island Community Charter School, we want to build a teaching staff as diverse as our students. We seek committed, highly qualified, New York State-certified teachers who can bring a rich variety of experiences and interests to our classrooms.

Close to Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Hudson and Union counties in New Jersey––and accessible by ferry, express bus, SI Railway and MTA local buses––SICCS is looking for individuals who genuinely like children and can work with those who have a variety of proficiencies and learning styles.
